Find answers to some of the tough questions of faith during our Wonderful Wednesday series. On January 20, we began a four week series with a different speaker each week where we face these questions together.
January 20th, Former Senior Pastor Sid Huggins addressed "Why do bad things happen to good people?" We had a large attendance for this service to hear Dr. Huggins' message on this time-appropriate topic! Very stirring!
January 27th - Former Associate Pastor Rich Greenway spoke to us about Who gets eternal life.
Is it hard for you to find time to spend alone with God, in prayer and Bible study? Join us on February 3rd as Frankie Zumbro shares ways we can find more time to commune with God.
February 3rd - Coordinator of Congregational Care Frankie Zumbro will address "How can I find time for God?"
February 10th - Former church member and recent Duke Divinity School graduate Audrey Cecil Wilder will address "How does God work through prayer?"
You can see we have exciting speakers each week! You won't want to miss a single one!
As in the past, Mary Holden and Tom Burke will prepare us a delicious meal each week and will begin serving from 5:45 - 6:30 each Wednesday evening with the lesson going from 6:30 - 7:30. You can call the church office, complete a reservation card found in the pews, or click here to make your reservations each week. We ask that you do make your reservation by Monday noon so we can make sure to have enough food prepared for everyone.
Mark your calendars and plan to join us for these four Wednesday evenings for food, fellowship, and wonderful Bible studies!
Nursery will be provided during the Bible Study hour UPON REQUEST. Please mark your need on the Reservation Card or the on-line form. If you call in your reservation, please let us know you need a nursery.
