Solar Lights

Many homes in Haiti do not have electricity at night, and when it gets dark there isn't much the family can do around the house. Providing these lights gives families the ability to provide not only security for their homes, but also allows kids to study and do their homework at night before bed, families to charge their phones, and to receive weather alerts and local radio.  Our Haiti Mission Team plan to distribute lights to six families they will be serving in the village.   Won't you support this team by making a donation towards the cost of these lights ($60 each) and share the light of Christ with people in Haiti?  Donations of any amount would be appreciated.  Please make checks payable to Front Street UMC with 'Haiti Mission' in the memo-line.  The Haiti Mission Team will be in Haiti January 19-26, 2019.
ANOTHER WAY TO SUPPORT our Haiti Mission Team is by purchasing food and supplies for their time in Haiti.  Click here to view the list and sign up.
ALTERNATIVELY MAKE A DONATION TO THE COST OF A CHURCH REBUILDING PROJECT.  The team will be continuing to rebuild a church that was damaged (and later had to be demolished) in the 2010 earthquake. Funds are available to rebuild the walls, but they are short $250 to complete the floor. To rebuild the roof is an additional $6,000. To make a donation towards these costs, please make checks payable to Front Street UMC with "HaitiMission" in the memo-line.
he team appreciates your support and your prayers as they prepare for their time serving in Haiti.
