Places for Worship
The Nave -- Here is the central focus of the church.  Each Sunday we celebrate Christ with two services. Aldersgate Hall  --  Home of the informal Aldersgate Service each Sunday morning.
The Chapel -- Communion is celebrated here. Smaller worship services, including some weddings, baptisms and funerals are conducted here. The Prayer Room -- Tucked in a corner of the Heritage Center for private prayer and meditation.

All work and No play...here are two Play-Spaces

Aldersgate Hall, our gymnasium, serves several purposes. Of course, the obvious use is for play, such as basketball tournaments and other games. but it is also the site of our informal worship service, the concert hall for the Alamance Chorale, the "yard" for yard-sales and the "dining hall" for congregational gatherings. It also serves as the all-purpose youth gathering spot. Often there are 125 or more youth here on Sunday evenings for UMYF.

Our playground is seldom empty. With Playschool and AfterSchool, as well as Children's programs there is a steady stream through here.

Just to give a sense of the place, here are some other pictures from around the church.

The George Anthony Heritage Center provides space for many gatherings, including the informal coffee time that follows the 11:00 worship service

The reading area just outside the library provides plenty of comfortable space to sit, or stand, and visit with friends.
