Not long! I started at the beginning of July, 2021
What’s your favorite thing about working here?
I haven’t been here very long, but I really enjoy the people- y’all are the kindest! Also, hearing Matt play the organ or piano throughout the day is a nice perk!
What’s the funniest thing that has happened to you here?
I can’t think of anything yet, but I know being involved with the kiddos, I will have plenty to choose from later on!
Where were you born and raised?
I was born in Indianapolis, but my dad was in the Army, so I have lived all over! I spent eight years in Germany, and have lived in several places in both Colorado and California, and have also lived in Maryland, Virginia, and Illinois.
Where did you go to school?
Colorado State University where I received my degree in Human Development and Family Studies. “I said I’m proud to be a CSU Ram!”
How many children do you have?
None… yet!!
Any Pets?

What is most important about your work at FSUMC? What drives you? What is your passion?
I am extremely excited to a create a space for the community to send their children after school where the kids can go to have fun and be themselves, while fostering their independence, personalities, and friendships.
What two people have most influenced you?
My grandma and Mary Poppins
What are your favorite books, movies or songs?
I love to read! Historical Fiction and Suspense Thrillers are my favorite genres. Where the Crawdads Sing, The Alice Network, and The Guest List are some top favorites.
As far as movies go, my favorite chick flick is Sweet Home Alabama, and I love a Marvel movie night with popcorn. Oh, and musicals! The Hamilton soundtrack has been on repeat in my house, unfortunately for my husband.
How do you like to spend your free time?
Besides hanging out with my husband, Dan, I enjoy cooking and baking, especially when I have the opportunity to host our neighbors and friends.
What’s your favorite food?
Food is the best! Ice cream, mac & cheese, and street tacos are among my favorites.
Where do you like to vacation?
I LIVE to travel, so I love exploring new places. Some of my favorites have been Ocracoke, New Orleans, and Iceland. Spain is currently at the top of my list to travel to next, but I’ll pretty much go anywhere if I find a good deal!
