Mission Man Triathlon
Discover the information for the 2010 Buckner Mission Man Triathlon.>>

Did you know that Front Street's 2009 Buckner Mission Man Triathlon enabled the following contributions to missions totaling $45,000?

  • Loaves & Fishes and Allied Churches - $16,000
  • Habitat for Humanity (seed money for our next house) - $10,000
  • Friendship Center Fund- $2,750
  • Wheelchair Ramp Ministry - $2,500
  • Methodist Home for Children  $1,400
  • ALAMAP - $1,400
  • Alamance Eldercare - $1,000
  • Other Front Street UMC Missions Projects 
  • Other Local Ministries 
  •  (e.g. Prison Ministry, Christian Counseling, Society of St. Andrew, etc.) - $3,450

Wheelchair Ramp Ministry Team
Many years ago a young man from our congregation was looking for a service project he could do to fulfill the requirements for his Eagle Scout Rank. He decided to build a wheelchair ramp for a shut-in. Thus began our Wheelchair Ramp Ministry. >>

 

Siberia Medical Missions Trip

When one hears the gospel for the first time, their reaction is often disbelief that this is the message they’ve been waiting to hear. Such was the experience in Siberia for the Christian Medical Mission team.
