Since February 2016.
 
What’s your favorite thing about working here?
My co-workers are awesome and I enjoy getting to know the church family.

Bulletin and newsletter bloopers!
 
Where were you born and raised?
Chatham, Virginia
 
Where did you go to school?
Chatham High School
 
How many children do you have?
I have two daughters, Lindsay Kocmich, a RN at Mebane Surgery Center and Maggie Kelly, a professor at UNCG working on her doctorate degree.  I am the proud grandmother of Owen (6) and Hannah (3) Kocmich, and Piper (4) and Huck (2) Kelly.
 
Any pets?
I had a cat named Tiger who lived to the age of 20 (human years) and died in 2014.  I now have a granddog, Koda, a very spirited Labradoodle.
 
What is most important about your work at FSUMC?  What drives you?  What is your passion?
The Lord has given me the opportunity to work within the church most of my career.  I try to honor Him and be faithful by serving those in the church and community.
 
What two people have most influenced you?
My parents were a great influence with their strong work ethic and instilled in me the importance of family.
 
What are your favorite books, movies or songs?
My favorite books are the Mitford series by Jan Karon.  I also enjoy Corrie ten Boom’s books, especially her devotional book, Each New DayIt’s a Wonderful Life with Jimmy Stewart is an all-time favorite that I enjoy watching every Christmas.
 
How do you like to spend your free time?
I enjoy history, baking, shopping with my girls.
 
What’s your favorite food?
I love food period, especially sweets and seafood.
 
Where do you like to vacation?
I enjoy the mountains and the beach.  Also, I am interested in history, so I enjoy visiting and touring historical sites.
